The New York Yankees secured a commanding 10-3 victory over the Houston Astros in an electrifying Tuesday night showdown. 

The Yankees' offense dazzled with a display of power, amassing 13 hits, 6 walks, and 3 home runs, while particularly shining against Astros' ace Justin Verlander, tallying seven runs and eight hits against the future Hall-of-Famer. Alex Verdugo set the tone early, launching a colossal three-run homer in the first inning and later adding a two-run RBI single in the 3rd inning. Anthony Volpe joined the offensive spectacle with a two-run homer in the 4th inning, followed by Giancarlo Stanton's mammoth 421-foot blast in the 5th inning. Judge, Berti, and Volpe continued the onslaught, contributing RBIs to extend the Yankees' lead to a formidable nine runs by the end of the 7th inning.

Pitcher Luis Gil showcased his mastery on the mound, delivering 6.0 exceptional innings with five strikeouts and allowing only one hit—a first-inning home run. However, a late-game error by Berti, followed by a hit, allowed the Astros to tack on two runs in the 9th inning, concluding the game with a final score of 10-3.
