The Yanks comeback late to win 6-4 against Toronto : Read the Highlights!

The Yankees ended the losing streak and came back late in the game to win 6-4 against the Blue Jays and prevent being swept!

On Wednesday, Marcus Stroman pitched for the Yankees against the Blue Jays, but unfortunately, he didn't have a great game. Stroman gave up six hits, two earned runs, and two walks in just 5.1 innings. This was his worst performance of the season. However, I can't really blame him, as in the last three games, almost every starting pitcher struggled. After Stroman, Caleb Ferguson came in to pitch 1.0 innings, letting up one hit, one walk, and two earned runs. But thankfully, after Ferguson, Hamilton, Gonzalez, and Holmes closed out the last 2.2 innings, allowing only two hits and no earned runs.

The Yankees had a great offensive night that started late in the game, with Juan Soto leading the charge by going 3 for 3 with two walks. He had two RBIs, one of which came from a double in the 5th inning and a home run in the 8th inning. Giancarlo Stanton also hit a massive 437-foot home run in the 9th inning. The Yankees were able to take the lead in the 9th after a Trevino RBI single and a Judge two-RBI single. In total, the Yankees had 11 hits and 4 walks, which was much better than their offense on Monday and Tuesday.

The Yankees now have a rest day on Thursday. Then, starting Friday, they will take on the Tampa Bay Rays in a three-game series in the Bronx. Stay tuned! We will have every game recap right here on Baseballinthebronx.com!
