The Yankees are 3-0 after a 5-3 Win over the Astros : Read the Highlights!

The Yankees pulled off another come-from-behind victory to beat the Astros 5-3 on Saturday night! For the third day in a row, the Yankees were on a hitting spree against the Astros bullpen.

Another day, another MONSTER game for Oswaldo Cabrera and Juan Soto! Oswaldo Cabrera seems to want a starting job in the Bronx, as he came up clutch again for the Yankees. He hit a game-tying two-run home run in the 7th inning when the Yankees' offense looked stalled, followed by Juan Soto's home run two batters later to put the Yankees up 4-3! Combined, Soto and Carbrera are carrying the Yankees, as they are 13 for 25, with 3 HRs and 9 RBIs. Along with those two, Anthony Volpe went deep tonight, hitting his first home run of the season.

On the mound, Marcus Stroman made his Yankees' regular season debut and faced a tough challenge against the Astros. Despite a rocky start, in which he pitched six innings and allowed three runs, four hits, and two walks, Stroman displayed promising signs. He threw 101 pitches, showing great movement on his cutter and other off-speed pitches. I am confident that Stroman will soon find his rhythm and prove to be a valuable addition to the pitching rotation.

Yankee fans also got the first look at Trent Grisham, who did not make a great impression in his first game this season. Grisham went 0 for 3 with one walk, but the backup centerfielder got caught taking too big of a lead and got picked off at first. I was not thrilled when he was sent to the Yankees because his stats show he is not a hitter, and his first game did not change my opinion......

Regardless, the Yankees looked great tonight, and they are now 3-0. As great as that is, it makes it even better because the Astros are 0-3! Sunday afternoon, Clark Schmidt will take the mound and hope to lead the Yankees to a sweep in Houston.
