The Yankees Crush the Brewers 15-3! Read The Recap!!!!

The Yankees put on a hit parade filled with home runs to win 15-3 over the Brewers!

The New York Yankees had a remarkable offensive performance on Saturday, with a total of 19 hits and 4 home runs! Alex Verdugo, who went 3 for 5 on the night, hit a three-run home run in the 1st inning during his first official game hitting fourth in the lineup. This was a great move by Aaron Boone! Judge went 2 for 4 with a two-run home run, and Anthony Rizzo went 3 for 4 with a two-run home run, both of which were in the 6th inning. The last home run was hit by Giancarlo Stanton, who hit a monster three-run home run in the 9th inning. To be fair, he hit the home run off a position player because the Brewers gave up by the 8th inning. Torres also hit a three-run RBI double, while Cabrera and Verdugo collected RBIs as well. Every starter got a hit on Saturday, except Anthony Volpe. However, he has been playing great this year, so it's okay that he didn't get a hit in this game.

On Saturday, Carlos Rodón pitched exceptionally well for the Yankees. He went for 6.0 innings, struck out eight batters, and only allowed two hits and one earned run. Luke Weaver took the mound for the next two innings and pitched nearly perfectly, allowing only one hit. In the 9th inning, it was quite a scene when Jose Trevino stepped in to pitch! It was his first-ever pitching appearance, and as a catcher who had never pitched before, Trevino did a great job, despite allowing two hits, one walk, and two earned runs.

The Yankees play the Brewers on Sunday to decide who wins the series. Let's hope the Yankees can repeat the incredible offense performance they showed Saturday!
